Time to start planning your Holiday Stitching.....

So here we are in early October and it's time to seriously start thinking about our holiday stitching.

Allow me to introduce our Christmas Mystery.

Yes, we are going to do a full size stocking for the 2014 Christmas Mystery!  I love this stocking from Tapestry Fair. There are so many fun spots for stitches, and it is painted on 13ct!  The plan is lots of layered stitches with threads that don't require plying and laying.  I won't promise no laying of threads but my goal is less than usual.  And did I mention it is on 13ct?  We can do this!.

Classes will be November 23, December 14, December 28, January 11 and 25th;  Sunday afternoons from 1-3pm or can be sent to your doorstep if you aren't in the area.

You can sign up here, or by calling us at 410.296.0405.

Thanksgiving Weekend Fun

Be Merry with Julia Snyder - November 29th
Last year we had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend class with the one and only Sandy Arthur. This year we invited Julia Snyder to share the holiday with us. On Saturday, November 29th we will be stitching this super cute Amy Bruecken canvas!  Brand new and full of fun techniques this is one happy canvas! It’s 5” x 7.5” stitch painted on 18ct.

Ornament Fun! with Julia Snyder - November 30th
Now for something totally different.  Julia Snyder always does a fabulous job with her embellishment classes.  That's a no-brainer.
Think about the ornaments you have to stitch and those you have already stitched.  Julia will help you bring them all to life, using fun threads and stitches on the new, and embellishing the finished ornaments to make them fresh without erasing any history.  What a fun idea!
Bring any ornament(s) you want Julia to guide, plus look through your stash of finished and loved ornaments and allow her to inspire you with her vision of what they can be. Julia will do as many ornaments/standups as time allows.

More details/costs etc are on the website.
