Meet Ellen Giggenbach

We have a fun new designer to introduce you to!  Her name is Ellen Giggenbach, and she comes to us by way of New Zealand.  Isn't the internet a wonderful thing?

She is a graphic designer and illustrator with a style uniquely her own.  Much of her work is cut paper which lends itself so well to translating into needlepoint.  As she says, "I am absolutely passionate about Mid Century design especially children's book illustrations, I particularly love the bright and unusual colour combinations.
I also like very simple beautiful shapes and for me straight lines and circles are the most simple so you will notice my art is almost only made up of these 2 things!"

These are just a few of her new designs.

You can see more on our website at
Hope you love them as much as we do.

Awesome! I've been a fan of Ellen's work for several years, and even contacted her myself about stitching some of her designs. I'm glad you've licensed them!
