M'Bellishment by Meredith Willet

So much fun.  So much talent all wrapped into one very special person.

This weekend Meredith Willet came to M'Bellish our lives and our canvases.  She is truly one of the hardest working teachers out there, with so much creativity.  I am honored to call her my friend.

If you ever have the chance to take her class, run, do not walk. Sign up.  It is worth it.

Simple little areas come to life, like this darling bandana on Walkies by Eleanor Grosch.

Also on the same canvas, Meredith demonstrated repouss√©, which you know I love, on this dog tail.

I love this little guy.

Check out the bunny and tiny flowers on this zecca canvas.

How gorgeous is this lani corset going to be?  I want one!

Lana Turner's earring is the thing legends are made of.  Too cool and OMG, I had just the perfect piece of embossed black felt hiding in the closet. If that's not kismet I don't know what is.

Jiminy Cricket is going to be too stinkin' cute with his beaded antennae, arms and legs! Love him.

The Zecca hippo has come to life several times in classes all over the country under Meredith's tutelage.  Each time he is a little different.

Here, his little fishy friends are stretched WireLace™.  One stitch, pull it wide and tack it down.  How clever is that?

I love ribbon flowers, and these on the Melissa Shirley vase are the bomb!  First of all you know I love the color but then look at the depth, and they take no time to stitch.  Another winner of an idea in my mind.

Katie came to class with the specific objective of wanting to loom bead something for on her canvas.  Why not?  She is a girl after my own heart with a love of beads.  Loom beading is super quick.  It takes as much time to set up the loom as it does to weave the uber cute pattern.

And look how wonderful it looks in the geisha's hair.  This is an Elizabeth Turner canvas and it is simply elegant.

Meredith is here for two more days as we embark on another adventure, stitching the Zecca Many Birds canvas!  It's going to be sooooo exciting.

See you soon.
