Cute, clever, fun, quick to stitch!

What more need I say?

This is the magic of zecca.

Love her, love her designs.  Simple happiness.

Are they Christmas ornaments or are they everyday ornaments?  You decide.

Or maybe a collection of triangles and circles becomes a kinetic mobile a la Miro.

Canvases are handpainted on 18ct and come complete with stitchguides, ribbon and felt balls.

They are almost finished already.

They are on their way to us so order quick before we run out.  Here's the link

What's My Favorite Thread?

I really, really love floche.

I love it so much that I've started having it dyed!

It’s 100% cotton with a pretty sheen and it’s just the perfect size for so many things!

We have 11 pretty colors to start.  Each is a 28yd skein.  We are so excited to share these with you that we created a pretty little tin to house the first group.  The collectors tin will only be available for a limited time, so order soon.

You can also order individual skeins of any of the colors.

Remember these are lovingly hand dyed and limited edition so please order enough to finish your project.  See the current collection here.

I hope you love them as much as we do.

Trick or Treat

Smell My Feet

Three Stwooges is Complete!

Okay, that's as close to poetry as you are getting from me :-)

The Stwooges are complete and they are a riot!

The colors are happy and fun. There isn't too much of any one thing which in my book is a good thing. The areas are just big enough to play with a thread and stitch before you move onto the next area one.

The littlest guy has the biggest pumpkin.  Do you think he will share his treats?

A little ribbon makes for wonderful neck ruffles.  Lots of impact from both River Silks and WireLace!

The entire canvas seems to glow with happiness.

The final lesson is in the mail tomorrow.  For those of you who signed up later in the game most of your canvases will also ship tomorrow.  We'll get the rest out next week.

If you find these guys as irresistible as I do, give us a call at 410.296.0405 or order online and we'll kit them for you.  We're only a click away!

Liisa Turunen was here last weekend teaching oh so pretty beady projects.  It is always a delight when she comes to teach.

She brought lots of pretty jewels to tempt us.  We can make these, really we can.

Doesn't she just look like the kind of teacher you want to hang out with?  It's true, you do.  She is patient and talented and all kinds of fun.

Unfortunately, I was so busy beading that I forgot to take pretty pictures....  I'll post what I made when I finish it.

She'll be back in 2018.  More beady fun with Liisa then.  Maybe I'll finish my projects before she comes back.

P.S.  She forgot to bring us kittens!  Not only does Liisa bead, she fosters kittens.  Talk about a sparkly good heart.

The Queen Beatrice

The bees are a buzzing.  The queen is here!

How fun is this?  Our two Sandy's teamed up again to bring us the Queen Bee!

Sandra Vargas designed the queen and Sandra Arthur created the stitchguide.

Gotta love all these cool stitches and combinations of threads!  She's such a fun stitch.

I love her dress.

And oh! The flowers!!!

You can order Queen Beatrice here.

Or perhaps you just want her garden.  Here it is.

So many fun canvases.

Hope you have a great weekend.

bunny bunny bunny

This project continues to make me happy.

Canvas by Kimberly Santini

Stitching by Ann

Brilliant Stitch Idea by Brenda Hart

A winning combination.

Stitched with 2 strands of Accentuate on 18ct canvas.  Pretty darn cool.

Kimberly has two bunnies in her line.

We have more canvases coming in soon, so if you want a bunny or a kitty or a happy dog, check out kimberly's offerings.  Stitched in this style they are super quick!

See you soon.

So much fun!

Another fun weekend at the Beehive!  YAY!

The beehive is the studio and office for Bedecked and Beadazzled and it is a great space.  Lots of room for spreading out and creating magic.  We had a full house with 10 people in class!  I am very lucky that you trust me with your canvases and allow me guide you on this journey of threads and stitches.

The black cat with flowers is all about puns.  :-)  He's a cat in flowers so he should be stitched in a flower pattern.  And the flowers are shaped like hearts to they should have hearts on them, right?  I was being silly, but he is awfully cute.

The deco detective is so graphic and has lots of fun stitches.  A brand new deco background and a sparkly dress that will have beads!

Melissa Shirley's flamingos are huge!  But they are painted on 13ct so that is a huge plus. Straw Silk is making wonderful feathers.

The Dancing Miriam canvas is a veritable rainbow of threads.

I love this canvas.  It's funky and fun but it still has an air of elegance.  It needs lots of open stitches so that the paint shows through.  That is after all why we love it.  A darning pattern will be just the right touch in the background.

Just a little bit of padding and his mouth starts to come forward munching on the leaves.

Tree frogs!  Check out the eyes on the three in the middle.  They really bring the canvas to life.

It's all about the shading and the glossy finish on the teapot.  Yes, there will be a few beads.

Can you see the bird on the left's reflection in the water?  Splish splash.

This will be a painterly masterpiece when it's finished.  It's all about the placement of beads and tiny stitches throughout the feathers.....

We are happy to kit any of these canvases for you, or simply supply the guide if you already have the canvas.

We hope you will consider joining us for a future embellishment extravaganza.  They are oodles of fun.  Next class is January 7 & 8, 2017.  Spaces are filling quickly.
